Codio has remade Aussie superstar John Farnham’s 1990’s hit ‘Burn For You’, teaming up with Australian live performer, Dean Gray.
Officially out on German label ToughtStuff!Music on October 28th, Gray and Codio (pictured) have transformed Farnham’s power-ballad into a power-anthem. If you loved the original you will be feeling this deep, rhythmical remake.
Gray’s soulful, dynamic vocal is accompanied by his very best lead and melodic guitar riffs. It’s deep yet commercial, it’s main set yet chill out. Think of Robin Schulz’ ’Sugar’ meets The Avener’s ‘Lonely Boy”.
And judging by the success of every pool-party DJ’s favourite go-to summer track, ‘Lose Control’ (ft Hanlon Brothers), which was welcomed all over SoundCloud (featured on EDMTunesTV) and smashed Spotify, ‘Burn For You’ should also exceed expectations.
Codio has landed in tropical Australia for the south’s summer months. Make sure you follow Codio’s social media to catch a live show, featuring keys and percussion, and the release of “Burn For You’ with Dean Gray.
