German DJ and producer Butch touches down on US soil for a string of US tour dates in March, including the launch party for his new record label OTHERSIDE.
With previous releases on Hot Creations and Seth Troxler’s Visionquest label, Butch is well known for his Ibizan floor-fillers, although after receiving worldwide recognition throughout 2013 he can now be seen exploring many sides of the electronic spectrum. A true music lover with no boundaries, Butch is set to bring his unique and energetic vibe to some of the hottest parties in the US this March, including the launch party for his new label OTHERSIDE.
OTHERSIDE, a collaboration with friend and percussionist Sebastian Hohberg, encapsulates an experimental “psycho-acoustic” sound. A mixture of sonic soundscapes and electronic structures, the first EP release on the label, entitled Rebirth, will land on vinyl on 24 March. To celebrate the launch of the label and EP release Butch will be hosting a label launch party at Do Not Sit On The Furniture on 20 March, the first of five Miami dates he will play that month. It¹s a Miami takeover!
Known for delivering some of the freshest artists to the New York underground scene, the institution that is Sankeys will be the backdrop for Butch’s first US appearance on the 8th of March. The remainder of the US tour will take place in Texas (22 March) before returning to Miami for the final 2 shows, where he’ll be wrapping up his US leg with a delicious mix of inspiring techno, thumping house and melodic grooves.
