Butler & Bontan ft. Vula – Live My Life

May 15th 2015 sees two of House music’s most exciting rising talents, Josh Butler and Bontan, join forces with the illustrious Vula from Basement Jaxx to deliver one of this year’s most highly anticipated collaborations entitled ‘Live My Life’ on Ultra Records.

This sublime new single follows the huge success of the dynamic duo’s debut collaborate release last year entitled ‘We Found A Place’ and their recent ‘Be True’ tour which has seen them play back-2-back for no less than 4hrs to sell-out crowds across some of the UK and Ireland’s leading clubs including: Ministry of Sound (London), Sankey (Manchester), Mint (Leeds), Button Factory (Dublin), Lush (Portrush), Arches (Scotland), Chibuku (Liverpool) and many more.

In addition, Butler and Bontan have recently graced the stage to tour with the legendary CHIC Ft. Nile Rodgers plus last year picked up a Beatport Award each for the 2013 house anthem ‘Got A Feeling’, a track which has become the 2nd biggest selling single of all time on Beatport and stayed at the top of Shazam’s Ibiza buzz chart all last summer.

‘Live My Life’ boasts all the hallmarks of a certified future summer anthem encompassing Butler and Bontan’s trademark production qualities featuring; a slick Jackin’ house groove, a powerful funk-driven bassline and deep warm chords stabs to complement Vula’s amazing soulful vocal line that you’ll be singing all night and day.

“We wrote the basics of the track in a few hours, then the following day Vula joined us and wrote the lyrics in the studio there and then. It feels like we really captured a moment. Vula has an incredible voice and sang some of the biggest Basement Jaxx hits to date. We’ve had some great times together over the last few months, both in the studio and performing live. It’s an absolute pleasure to have met and worked with her,” says Butler and Bontan.

‘Live My Life’ is available exclusively via Beatport from May 15th and everywhere else from June 2nd.
