Zero B returns to Zulu Records
Zulu Records regular Zero B brings his flawless production back to MDE’simprint with a helping hand from drum & bass legend DJ Rap. The two join forces to bring a big slice of nineties inspired house, and the package is rounded off by Ibiza hero and all-round house music connoisseur Jonathan Ulysses. Zulu continue their onslaught of music after just releasing a 5 Year celebratory compilation album, setting themselves up nicely for 2018 and beyond.
Big early support and plays on this one from Sam Divine, Plastik Funk, Judge Jules, Thomas Gold and many more, and it’s easy to hear why.
Zulu have the ability to delve into every corner of house music and produce time and time again. They’ve been known to release futuristic sounds, disco, electro, deeper tones and everything in between. However, this time their aspiring line up of DJs have cooked up both classic and nostalgic records to satisfy your dancefloor needs. Although the Ibiza closing parties seem like an age ago now, these tracks will certainly bring back the memories of the summer months.
Overflowing with positivity and uplifting vibes from the start, ‘Butterfly’ features the euphoric vocals we’d expect to hear from a nineties inspired Ibiza record. Full of stabbing organs and keys, big backbeats and dominating piano riffs that take us right back to the origins of electronic music. On remixing responsibilities, Jonathan Ulysses adds bigger build ups, drops and a heavier bassline to spice things up for a club feel. There is no doubt that ‘Butterfly’ is ready to take on dancefloors across the world, prepare yourselves to hear it more often.
Another big find from Zulu Records, here’s to another 5 years.
