Rising UK Garage star BWK Project proves why he’s one of UKG’s most talked about talents on his new single ‘Pillow Talk’, out 8th March on DJ EZ’s Nuvolve label.
Framed around fluttering synths and crisp percussion, ‘Pillow Talk’ is a lean 2-step tune from BWK Project. The Birmingham-based producer expertly contrasts delicate vocal samples with deep bass surges to craft a true old skool garage banger.
Birmingham DJ and producer BWK Project is one of the most exciting new figures in the UK Garage scene. He’s had records signed to Nuvolve, Four40, Slime Recordings, Lush, Strictly Flava and Beastwang to name a few, as well as tracks and DJ mixes featured on KISS, Radio 1xtra, Flex, Select, Trickstar, Nuvolve Radio. Supported by the likes of DJ EZ, DJ Q, SHOSH, Scott Garcia, Matt Jam Lamont, Skream and Sian Anderson, and focusing on mainly the 2-step side of garage, BWK takes a lot of influence from back in the old skool days growing up listening to Garage and Bassline music, both of which show up in his style today.
‘Pillow Talk’ is the latest cutting-edge release from DJ EZ‘s Nuvolve label. Flying the flag for the constant evolution of the Garage genre, Nuvolve shines a light on future sounds and emerging artists whilst never forgetting its roots. A roster where legends like Todd Edwards and Sweet Female Attitude rub shoulders with white-hot risers like MPH and WZA, pays testament to the label’s unique position of showcasing the brightest and best artists of the future alongside those of the past.
‘Pillow Talk’ is another certified banger from Nuvolve, giving a platform to one of the brightest young talents in the UK Garage scene in BWK Project.
