CaféMAMBO presents Mambo In The Mix

Café Mambo has joined forces again this year with the Red Cross in Ibiza and Formentera to stage another Mambo In The Mix charity event at the legendary sunset destination on Thursday 19th September 2013.

Mambo In The Mix provides an opportunity for DJs who have successfully forged their careers in Ibiza to collectively give something back to the islands’ less fortunate communities.

Playing with the theme of mixing things up, last year’s hugely successful event saw some of the world’s biggest DJs take part in this great cause, working behind the bar instead of the Mambo DJ booth for the evening while the public volunteered to mix the beats, many of whom received coaching from the A-list names present, in exchange for a charitable donation. The venue raised a monumental 31,000 Euros on the night.

Last year’s stellar line-up included Armin Van Buuren, Carl Cox, Eric Prydz, Judge Jules, Roger Sanchez, Hernan Cattaneo, Nervo, Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Cassius, M.A.N.D.Y, Funkagenda, Woody Van Eyden, and Mark Fanciulli and this year’s line-up promises to be equally spellbinding.

For 19 years, Café Mambo has been hailed as the place to party on the sunset strip in Sant Antoni, Ibiza.  With an unrivalled reputation built via great guest DJs and the world famous sunset, the outdoor area hosts around 15,000 passers-by. Some of the star names who regularly grace the decks at this legendary venue include Pete Tong, Swedish House Mafia, Carl Cox, Solomun, Bob Sinclar, Tiesto, David Guetta, and many more.

For those who are unable to make it to the White Isle for this spectacular event, as of Monday 19th August, you can donate at https://www.cruzroja.es/mambointhemix, and links posted through the Facebook group https://www.facebook.com/mamboibiza and Twitter account @mamboibiza. All proceeds from the party will be given to the Red Cross (Cruz Roja Ibiza) http://www.cruzroja.es.

Mambo In The Mix is at Cafe Mambo on Thursday 19th from 7PM – 12AM.
