Sj - Calabasas EP

Tritonal protege and Enhanced Music mainstay Sj has just revealed his full Calabasas EP today on the label. Since teaming up together on “Hung Up,” which garnered over 35 million streams, Sj has been working closely with Tritonal, including releasing on their Enhanced label and touring alongside the Texas-based duo, Seven Lions, and Kill The Noise. Sj has been giving fans just a taste of his upcoming EP with hits such as “Flicker” and “Calabasas” listed on the six-track release. Now he reveals the gorgeous EP in its entirety.
 
His latest single “If We Can Stay High” is a beautiful opening to the EP, which Sj wrote, produced, and sang on, showing off his truly multifaceted artistry. With wavy beats and breathy vocals from Nashville singer/songwriter Chelsea Lankes, this track brings the ultimate chill vibes. Chelsea Lankes has seen overwhelming success on HypeM for her tracks “Ghost,” “Easy,” “Down For Whatever” and “Matches.”
 
The tune is also accompanied by a cool-toned video where Sj and Chelsea portray a melancholy couple that stares into each other eyes as their scenery changes. The video takes viewers into deep fields of flowers, Chinatown, a rocky beach, an abandoned parking garage, and more – at over 30 locations, all while capturing the intense emotions of asking someone to stay. The LA-based producer also channels his talents into philanthropy, having founded One Life in Nashville, TN. The focus of Sj’s organization is to help transform the lives of impoverished girls in Calcutta, India, many of whom have endured physical, mental, and sexual abuse. Through One Life, these girls are provided with a full education and they’re given the tools to break a lifelong cycle of abuse and poverty.
