Out now on Spinnin’ Deep, Exit 11 continues to build big momentum with a fresh new single ‘Stay With Me’ that finds him work with young Scottish techno talent, Calvin Logue to great effect.
Exit 11 has been championed by in-the-know tastemakers like Radio 1’s Danny Howard (who also featured on Exit 11’s ‘Masakali’ tune late last year), while he has already played mesmeric sets at key clubs such as XOYO and fabric in 2019. In the studio, he cooks up electric house tracks like recent offering ‘Unbutu’ which won over US legend Erick Morillo who went on to release it on his iconic Subliminal label. Further releases are already lined up on Glasgow Underground, MK’s Area 10 and Armada, and all arrive after Exit 11 has received headline support from big hitters like Hot Since 82, Pete Tong and Steve Lawler.
The excellent ‘Stay With Me’ with Calvin Logue is a real rollercoaster ride that builds to a frantic peak on loopy snares and ever-rising synths. When the drums drop and the whole thing takes off, it is an all-consuming groove with sci-fi synth sequences and cosmic melodies that will get plenty of hands in the air. An atmospheric breakdown resets the mood at the mid-point before the excellent track soars again and no doubt blows the roof off any club.
This is a masterful display of high impact house dynamics that is once again set to take Exit 11 to the next level as he continues to take over in 2019.
