With just over a week to go, Camden Rocks Festival is getting ready for another sold out event with 8000 music fans descending on North London for a full day of fun on Saturday June 2nd!
This annual family-run event will celebrate the 80th birthday of the Electric Ballroom venue this year – a legendary live music venue owned by the same family since its birth, alongside the historical Dublin Castle, who celebrate over 40 years of service to live music, again, run by the same family since it opened. Both feats are symbolic of Camden’s home-grown grassroots and spirit of arguably London’s most important borough for live music for all genres.
Today, the festival has announced the full schedule of where and what time the 200 bands, picked from the 5000 that applied, will be playing on the day. Plan ahead, arrange your travel and accommodation and await another sunshine filled Camden Rocks with a carnival atmosphere like no other!
Special guests The Men They Couldn’t Hang have also joined the existing line up with a one-off acoustic set at Cuban Bar, Gabeto – an exclusive and personal show for fans who are used to seeing them play at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
They join Public Image Limited (PiL), Maxïmo Park, Twin Atlantic, Sikth, British Sea Power, The Rifles, Mallory Knox, Blood Red Shoes, Pop Will Eat Itself, Echobelly, Beatsteaks, The Professionals, Crazy Town, Hacktivist, Carl Bârat (Libertines) DJ set at the Koko after show, and many more live acts confirmed for this year’s bill included in this year’s schedule.
Grab the very last remaining tickets now whilst they are still available from www.camdenrocksfestival.com where you can also find the full line-up and all festival information.
