Well that was AMAZING! Camp Bestival really did Go Wild! In what can only be described as four days of utterly glorious sunshine, we danced and laughed and went totally wild in the grounds of Lulworth Castle. Headline sets from Clean Bandit, Kaiser Chiefs and Underworld saw huge and happy crowds having the time of their lives, while Buzzcocks, Professor Green, The Cuban Brothers, DJ Yoda, Alison Moyet, Ella Eyre, Ella Henderson, Crazy World of Arthur Brown, Norman Jay, David Rodigan and many more kept everyone bouncing long into the balmy evenings. Steve Backshall, Bill Oddie, Michaela Strachan, The National Trust, Working for Wildlife, Lake Picnic Walks, Haven Falconry and a cornucopia of nature-based fun turned the wild factor up to 11, and every single day was filled with comedy, theatre, shows, attractions, activities, poets, talks and delicious food.
Rob da Bank says: “What an incredible weekend, I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much wild fun going on in one place. Sun, fun and a totally brilliant crowd who were up for the party made it the best year ever. Thanks to all the artists and crew but especially you lot for making it so special. We’ve already got plans under way for next year, so watch this space!”
In fact, our festi-holiday jamboree was so good we can’t wait to do it all again. So, if you’re anything like us you’ll be pleased to know that you can guarantee your place at the UK’s official Best Family Festival next year, held at Lulworth Caste, from 28th-31st July 2016, when Early Bird tickets go on sale this Friday 7th August at 10:00am. There are only a limited number available, so head to Ticketline or call 0844 888 4410 and book your Early Bird tickets before it’s too late!
Finally we’d like to a massive thank you to everyone who came along this year and made Camp Bestival Go Wild. See you next year!
