Canadian based electronic musician Matfroninja (Matthew Monteith) blurs the lines between future bass and pop music.
Experimenting with textured rhythms and rich soundscapes, “Burn Down” explores the highs and lows of a feverish relationship – filled with warped melodies and pulsating synth chords. “Even though at some points in a relationship you may want to forget it ever started, you still end up fighting for it and not letting that love burn down”, he explains.
“For me personally I’ve actually had a great long-term relationship with the love of my life, but I’ve seen so many friends go through these emotions and decided to embody that into this single”.
Influenced by EDM giants such as Illenium, San Holo and RL Grime, Matfroninja’s passion for his craft is evident in his carefully curated mixes.
