Ultra Records have announced the release of a remix package for Tommie Sunshine & Halfway House’s summer hit, ‘Can’t Get Enough’ feat. Sarah Hudson.
The package features six remixes from a variety of talented producers from across the globe.
First up is the hugely popular US duo Pegboard Nerds – with almost every single in their Spotify library receiving millions of streams, they make for a high-profile start to the remix package.
They’re followed by blogosphere favourites Flatdisk, an Italian duo who channel their classical training by sampling live steel drums and flutes over the gentle bassline of their version.
Also on the package is LA by way of El Salvador upcomer Usica, Melbourne/LA-based collective Sunset Child, seasoned Seattle remixer John Kim and Skrillex-supported duo Boots N Pants. Each artist provides their own distinctive take on the record, so there’s now a version of ‘Can’t Get Enough’ to fit into any set.
The original record was conceived when legendary veteran producer Tommie Sunshine teamed up with Vegas-based duo Halfway House and singer/songwriter Sarah Hudson, who previously cowrote ‘Black Widow’ for Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora, and ‘Dark Horse’ for Katy Perry. The pumping, feelgood track quickly became one of Tommie’s most popular tracks, having already amassed nearly 2 million streams on Spotify since its release at the start of the season.
