Athea - Capoeira EP

Athea returns to Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep In Sound imprint for a brand new EP backed with remixes from Leonardo Gonnelli and Gorge.

With previous support from Sasha, Marco Carola and Steve Lawler, James Dutton aka Athea ends another successful summer in Ibiza with the release of ‘Capoeira’.

‘Capoeira’ kicks off the EP in typical Knee Deep In Sound fashion with driving rhythms dressed in swells of white noise that slip and slide before ‘Into The Deep’ leaves its mark with a thunderous low end steeped in bubbling energy.

Up next is Italian heavyweight Leonardo Gonelli who turns in two remixes, the first of which focuses on smooth atmospherics before a ‘909 Vision Remix’ provides crunching drum arrangements for those peak time highs. Finishing off the EP is 8bit records artist Gorge who’s exhilarating remix draws from deep and tech house flavours to sign off the ‘Capoeira’ EP in style.
