CARE FREE LIVING & WISANI FT CHAREL RUTH – ACROSS THE SEAS

Care Free Living are rapidly becoming an applauded name in the dance music world. The Tri State based DJ and producer tag team, formed by the combined forces of Sheni Doko and Gianka Greco are already levitating roofs at some of Tri State’s biggest and most eminent dance venues and beyond, including: Pasha NYC, 4Sixty6, Bliss Night Club, Santos Party House, LIT Ultra Bar, and many more. Care Free Living has also featured at the ZMF Music Festival and the Official Life in Colour After Party playing alongside Borgore and David Solano to name but a select couple. This talented duo has had the opportunity to share the stage with many other celebrated international DJs, namely: Dyro, MAKJ, Tristan Garner, Cosmic Gate, Digital Lab, SIKDUO, Marcus Schossow, Alexander Technique and Nick Cannon. Their unique sound and style has landed them considerable support from numerous renowned DJs including: Tommie Sunshine, Victor Niglio, Astronomaur, David Heartbreak, and Miss Nine, together with ClubZone FM Radio where they were invited on multiple occasions for interviews and to perform their memorable show as guests.

Building on such achievements, Care Free Living are now releasing their latest and perhaps most memorable single to date – ‘Across The Seas’ featuring Wisani. Featuring the distinguished voice of South African vocalist Charel Ruth, this progressive track is a fine display of Care Free Living’s melodic abilities and versatility, being able to produce both this kind of project and also harder edged, main room efforts. The single kicks off with a conventional four-on-the-floor kick pattern accompanied by a synth loop that quickly elevates into a blissful and uplifting mode. Care Free Living reserve their best melodic compositions for the next section – a combination of both artist’s flavours, resulting in an interesting and memorable soundscape. Accompanied by guitar-styled synths, a subtle drum groove and a background piano, Charel Ruth’s voice shines and produces a truly magical feeling when stacked on the production. The track then lifts off to a no-nonsense progressive chorus, providing the highlight of the production. The duo devises a series of emotional vocal-driven drops and exciting instrumental crescendos, making this project a one of a kind progressive jewel and a fine addition to the Care Free Living discography.

‘Across The Seas’ is beyond a doubt a refreshing and innovative track, having the right vibe and elements to give chills to its listeners. With this single, Care Free Living are definitely justifying their early successes and continue to establish themselves as one of the most thrilling up-and-coming acts on the international dance music scene. 2015 will surely be an exciting year for this brilliant duo – so be sure to keep a close ear and eye on the CFL boys for more of the same in the not-so-distant future.
