CARL COX & JON RUNDELL RETURN TO LONDON WITH PURE INTEC NIGHT AT FABRIC

Carl Cox and Jon Rundell confirm the latest in their label Intec’s ‘Pure Intec’ club series, returning to London on Thursday October 3 for their biggest night yet, at the capital’s legendary Fabric.

“Pure Intec is about the music and nothing else,” says Jon. “This event will be no exception. Fabric is renowned for its no nonsense music policy, amazing sound system and being able to create an intense atmosphere – making it the perfect fit for our ethos.  It’s going to be another great night in the city for Techno.”

2013 has been very much about Intec’s return to the world’s stage: It started in April, with the long awaited re-launch of the ‘Pure Intec’ compilation series, ‘Pure Intec Two’ released 9 years after the hugely successful original ‘Pure Intec.’  Part 1 was mixed by Carl himself, a collection of unheard remixes from his acclaimed album, ‘All Roads Lead to The Dancefloor,’ whilst Part 2 came courtesy of Jon and featured brand new tracks from some of Intec’s finest DJs

Coinciding with the compilation was the launch of the club night. Armed with an incredible roster to call on, they kicked off with a sold-out show at XOYO, before continuing their assault across Europe with a huge night at Fabrik in Madrid. This was followed by Pure Intec Ibiza, at Space, Ibiza, with sets from Intec’s Ben Sims, Marco Bailey and Pirupa – a highlight of Jon’s summer so far. Check out highlights here.

“It was unreal,” says Jon. “Early July is traditionally a quieter period in Ibiza, but we took the opportunity to keep it real and it paid off. 2.5k techno lovers on the inside and outside terrace, staying with us until the very end.”

Following Ibiza, Intec hit the only remaining street Techno party in the world– Switzerland’s Zurich Street Parade. This time joining forces with the mighty Dubfire and his record label SCI+TEC, they took over the city’s District 4 club, with Jon and Dubfire heading their respective labels, whilst completing the line up with SCI+TEC’s Shaded, new Intec signing Joseph Capriati and Swiss local, Darrien. Stay tuned for more exciting news on further Intec parties, including an almighty return to Gashouder in Amsterdam for ADE.
