Carlotek – Visceral

In Spring 2015 Carlotek will return to 1980 Recordings with his forthcoming single ‘Visceral’. Last year the London based producer and Portugese production partner Raisingtheroof released ‘Donna’ on the 1980 imprint and enjoyed solid Radio 1 and 1Xtra airplay, as well as reviews in Xlr8r and IHouseu. This time around Carlotek has returned on a solo mission to follow up with  his latest creation ‘Visceral’.

Fusing Deep/Tech with 90’s House, this track is aimed squarely at the peak time dancefloor. Brimming with melody and groove, the track bubbles away with it’s rumbling subass and choppy beats. Meanwhile, the synth lead chimes through with it’s synthetic bell tones and ethereal melody. The track has clearly been carefully crafted. There is polished sound design, subtle vox fx and tense atmospherics. All in all, we think this track could cause a storm in the clubs. Watch this space!
