Like his own musical tastes, Taylor Bense’s first solo EP Caught Up draws on numerous and diverse inspiration. What started as a creative outlet to make use of his self-built home studio in Brooklyn, NY morphed into a cohesive and powerful musical offering showcasing Bense's love of hip-hop beats and electronic music. Caught Up’s tracks have evolved organically and spontaneously into a well-rounded EP. Expressive yet upbeat, lighthearted yet emotional, and catchy without being trite, Bense has created an album that is just as appropriate to listen to on a solo stroll with headphones as it on oversized speakers.
