Launching straight into 2015, respected DJ/ producer Norman Doray has taken on remixing duties for the classic disco tune ‘Love In C Minor’ by the legendary Cerrone, set for release on 12th January through Because Music / Malligator.
Featuring as part of his #BringBackTheGroove campaign, Norman adds a funky drum beat and soft, subtle synths to perfectly compliment the iconic disco track, bringing it up to date for his take on the smooth 70’s disco anthem.
2014 was a highlight year of collaborations for Doray. His song “Apocalypse” [Spinnin] with fellow Frenchman Arno Cost featured the vocals of of the famous Bay-area (USA) singer/rapper Dev (Bass Down Low, Like A G6, In The Dark). That record also received a remix nod of approval from the 2 British DJs Kryder and Tom Starr.
The two Frenchmen joined together again later that summer with their break through chart topping groove track “Strong” which was released on Steve Angello’s powerhouse label SIZE. ‘Strong’ was rebirther later that year through a remix by one of dance music’s bright new-comers, Ansolo. Ansolo’s remix of “Strong” also topped the Beatport charts upon release.
