Charcom and Luisa Wilson Conjure Dark Magic on ‘KEEP MY EYES ON YOU’

Manhattan-based producer Charcom teams up with rising vocalist and songwriter Luisa Wilson on his latest single, “KEEP MY EYES ON YOU,” a brooding and seductive track that’s his most emotionally intense and sonically ambitious release to date. The song is a masterful blend of progressive house, melodic pop, and dark tech textures, charting new, more intimate territory for both artists.

The track’s origin story is as dynamic as its sound. What began as a foggy, ambient sonic experiment while Charcom was studying abroad in Berlin, a city known for its legendary techno scene, evolved dramatically when Luisa Wilson joined the project. Her arrival transformed the club-ready instrumental into something far more personal and emotionally resonant, a perfect marriage of pulsing late-night beats and intimate confession.

“This one feels like the most intense thing I’ve put out so far,” says Charcom, describing it as “dark, emotional, and kinda chaotic in the best way.” He notes the song’s “constant push and pull” and praises Wilson’s vocals for cutting “through everything,” a sentiment that perfectly captures the track’s dual identity as both a dance floor anthem and a late-night reflection.

“KEEP MY EYES ON YOU” builds slowly and hypnotically. Layered synths, sultry piano chords, and a tapping percussive undercurrent give way to distorted bass swells, creating a cinematic sense of tension. Luisa’s vocals glide effortlessly atop the production, delivering a performance that is equal parts vulnerable and commanding, with lyrics that feel both raw and meticulously crafted.

While Charcom draws on influences from modern electronic artists like Eli & Fur, John Summit, and SG Lewis, his signature style shines through in the emotional specificity of the track. Each sound serves a purpose, and every drop is calibrated not just for impact, but for meaning. This is a style honed through his years of songwriting and study at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute, reflecting a desire to translate the messiness of real life into melody. The collaboration with Luisa Wilson, a Memphis-born, New York-based artist with a powerful, soulful voice, results in a song that’s impossible to ignore.
