28th November sees Techno heavyweights Pig&Dan release their latest EP, entitled ‘Chemistry’, via Adam Beyer’s prestigious label, Drumcode.
2016 has been a massive year for Pig&Dan. Their acclaimed fourth album, ‘Modular Baptism’, was released to universal praise, with singles such as the pounding number, ‘Growler’, smashing the Beatport charts and reaching #1 overall.
Now, the dynamic duo return to Adam Beyer’s Drumcode imprint, following their Beatport top 10 hit ‘Mexico’ which was released earlier this year as part of the duo’s debut EP on the label.
Kicking off proceedings is the title-named track, ‘Chemistry’, a deep-groover that combines an alluring chord-riff, pounding beats and superb use of effects.
‘Ukraine’ follows and is the toughest sounding from the pack, featuring a killer breakdown that gradually builds in momentum before unleashing the climatic closing rhythm.
‘Devotion’ concludes the EP, seeing a stirring selection of high-intensity drums paired with dark, industrial-sounding bit-reduced synths and chopped up vocals that perfectly rounds off this excellent three-track release.
‘Chemistry’ is available exclusively via Beatport on November 28th and everywhere else two weeks later.
