Cherokee – Teenage Fantasy

As the musical palettes of the US continue to evolve, the New Year seems like the perfect time to keep ears open to the newest and most innovative forthcoming acts. Hailing from a country most renowned in the golden ages of French-house music and  Nu-Disco, Luxembourg-bred producer / DJ outfit Cherokee returns in 2015 to debut his lead single ‘Teenage Fantasy’ from his upcoming EP of the same name.

Having departed as a duo and continuing as a one-man act, Dorian Miche, better known as Cherokee, pursued writing music with spirit and passion far beyond his years. His most recent works, which were the ‘American Spirit’ EP and hit-single ‘Don’t Matter’, had everyone tuned in and eager for more. Now he’s back to quench the thirst of craving fans with ‘Teenage Fantasy’ ft. Gibbz.
 
Gentle synths and soulful vocals are perfectly paired as this elegant piece of disco proves once again that Dorian delivers nothing but quality. Laced with subtle guitar licks and ambient piano chords, the interweaving tranquil bass kicks give this track an upbeat yet dreamy ambiance.
