Chewna launches Sixteen Twenty Records with debut single ‘All I Need’ and heavyweight remix package.
Chewna steps out with the first release on his brand-new label, Sixteen Twenty Records, an imprint that will be dedicated to quality house music from some of the biggest global talents on the scene.
The inaugural single, All I Need, balances skippy, bass-heavy percussion with soaring vocals and classic house organ stabs, setting the label’s agenda with a bold, club-focused sound.
For the launch, Chewna has enlisted some serious remix talent. Del-30 raises the tempo with a garage-inflected bounce, building to a euphoric breakdown and release that shows why he has become such a reliable player across Toolroom, Hot Creations and Sola.
Huxley goes darker and deeper, pulling All I Need into hypnotic territory with the kind of percussive tension and stripped weight that has made him a mainstay on AUS, Hypercolour, Defected and Knee Deep In Sound.
The package is rounded out with an additional remix from 1908, adding another distinct flavour to the release.
“Sixteen Twenty is about doing things properly from day one. Every release will come with professional promo and PR, and the kind of care that helps music stand out in a crowded space. We want to look after the artists we work with, and the aim is to build a label that DJs and producers can trust, a go-to home for quality house music. I’m stoked that the first release sets the bar so high, with Huxley and Del-30 on board alongside my own track. It feels like the perfect way to launch.”
