Chicago’s Chosen Few DJs Alan King & Wayne Williams Exclusive for Househead LDN on Saturday October 26th

Chicago’s Chosen Few Festival DJ legends Alan King & Wayne Williams Announced for Househead LDN’s Saturday October 26th event

Plus DJs Paris Cesvette, Deli G & Lil Meesh

Known for crafting bespoke one-off house music experiences and following on from recent sold-out events with Atlanta’s Kai Alce and New York’s Jihad Muhammad, Househead LDN announce an Exclusive with Chicago’s legendary Chosen Few Festival duo, Alan King & Wayne Williams, on Saturday October 26th. Pillars of Chicago’s house music community, Alan King & Wayne Williams make a rare UK appearance distilling a multi-genre house soundtrack that joins the dots between current house cuts and timeless classics. Househead LDN deliver another strong UK lineup that features female DJs Paris Cesvette and newcomer, Lil Meesh, alongside Bristol’s house godfather, Deli G. Taking over their spiritual home, Waterloo’s immersive venue, Aures, expect pure House music magic all night long on what will be one of October’s unmissable clubbing dates.

Direct from the city that birthed house music, the Chosen Few Festival attracts over 60,000 people to its Festival each summer in Jackson Park, Chicago, and Masters At Work and Stephanie Mills headlined their 25th Anniversary show with President Obama appearing via video link. Both Alan King and Wayne Williams are stalwarts of the Chicago house scene and whose Chosen Few collective now includes Grammy-winning Terry Hunter and the legendary,Mike Dunn. Paying homage to the Windy City’s pioneers and current house artists in their sets, it’s all about the journey via soul, jackin and deep house styles. Having hosted collective events in cities across the United States and at festivals around the globe, including the Amsterdam Dance Event, Winter Music Conference, Tribe Tambor Cruise, and Suncébeat, the Chosen Few are one of Chicago’s leading lights keeping it at the fore of house music’s evolution. October 26th is a unique opportunity to experience the true essence of house music in London.

Continuing on their journey through the underground sounds of Deep House and more, Househead LDN assemble a stellar line-up to compliment the Chosen Few’s Alan King & Wayne Williams including leading lady Paris Cesvette, who’s just notched up Grammy consideration for her Remix of Kinky Roland & Boy George’s “UR Not The One” alongside her radio shows for BoatPod and more. Committed to equal opportunities, Househead welcome rising female DJ, Lil Meesh, who makes her debut following acclaimed sets at Portugal’s Soul Fusion Festival, Detroit’s Spotlight and Summer Series at the Congregation, the UK’s Deep Into Soul Thames boat party and Soul Society in Manchester and Birmingham. Rounding things off is Bristol’s Good Vibrations mainman, Deli G, who also launched Sean McCabe’s career via his radio show and connections.

Time to lose yourself with the freshest House beats the UK and the USA have to offer on what no doubt will be an exemplary Househead LDN day party. With its warehouse style setting boosted by a cracking sound system and great visual production, Aures, sets the scene for a unique and immersive experience. Tickets are online at RA and the last few Househead LDN events have sold out, so please book your place on the dance floor now.

Going deeper through the speakers…a night of pure house music magic.

“We are extremely proud of the fact that during a time when Chicago has had its challenges in terms of violence, we put 40,000 in a park on the South Side and in 29 years have not had a single act of violence or serious security incident of any kind. I attribute that to three things. First, the very nature of house music, which does not glorify or promote violence in any way. In fact, just about every vocal house music song ever made is about one or two things: Love and/or dancing. Second, the culture that surrounds house music is about peace, love and music. House heads just dont do violence. And finally, contrary to stereotypes, I think most people in Chicago are kind, warm and non-violent people. Those are the people who attend the Chosen Few Picnic & Festival”.
