CHLLNGR – COME AROUND (ELOQ REMIX)

CHLLNGR’s huge track “Come Around” gets an official rework from Danish producer ELOQ.  Click above to exclusively stream / download the remix, which features on CHLLNGR’s brand new album Form of Release, out now on Time No Place.

“ELOQ is an insanely talented composer and musician, I love all of the small details in his music that make his tracks stand out amongst other producers. I see very big things for him in the future and I’m just glad that he wanted to work with me on this track. I really wanted to put the remix on the LP, because I wanted there to be a physical copy of this version of this song.” – CHLLNGR

MORE ON ELOQ:  Riding the wave of the current Scandanavian musical invasion, Danish-born Eloq, aka August Fenger, follows in the footsteps of fellow natives Cashmere Cat, Trippy Turtle / Lido and his long-time collaborator and friend MØ.

At the tender age of 23, the award-winning DJ, pop producer, recording artist and platinum-selling Cheff label boss has critically acclaimed releases on New York’s Palms Out Sounds Records (home to Le1f, AC Slater and Dubbel Dutch), Danish label Hobby Industries and Slugabed’s London-based label Activia Benz.

With two cuts on MØ’s debut album “No Mythologies To Follow”, Eloq’s production “Glass” was chosen as the lead single for the album and was duly lauded by Pitchfork for featuring “skittering, beguiling production touches and a swinging chorus.”

MORE ON CHLLNGR:  Over the past year, CHLLNGR has been working on his next full-length for the LA-based Time No Place label. Recorded at the newly built Red Bull Studios in Copenhagen, Borth took a different approach by recording most of the new record at a legitimate studio as opposed to his previous DIY methods. Again, a collaborative effort: the new album features contributions from up-and-coming vocalist JOSIAHWISE IS THE SERPENTWITHFEET, Blaqstarr, Grace Hall of Skin Town, Nikolaj Manuel Vonsild (When Saints Go Machine, Cancer) and the UK based artist DELS. Keeping much CHLLNGR’s signature moody starkness, his forthcoming LP strives for brave eclecticism, digging deeper into his future-minded soul music explorations.
