Visionary electronic artist Chris Avantgarde has enlisted Eddie Thoneick and Kisch for his newest single ‘The Other Side’, out now via his newly launched Hyperreal label. ‘The Other Side’ is the latest taste of upcoming debut album Hyperreal following earlier singles ‘Down For The Night’, ‘Dale’, and ‘Energy’.
‘The Other Side’ unfolds as an introspective yet soaring production, fusing Chris’ cinematic sensibility with Thoneick’s dynamic touch and Kisch’s evocative vocals. Built around striking melodic motifs and meticulous sound design, the track bridges emotional songwriting and club-ready precision, offering another glimpse into the immersive world of Hyperreal.
German-born and London-based, Chris Avantgarde (Christian Vornweg) continues to shape a distinct creative identity that merges classical composition with modern electronic production. His work extends far beyond the dancefloor, with placements across film, television, fashion, and gaming, earning him the 2025 ASCAP “Synch of the Year” Award. A classically and jazz-trained multi-instrumentalist, Chris’s technical fluency and depth of emotion have established him as one of the most versatile figures in contemporary electronic music.
2025 has further solidified Chris’s boundary-defying presence, following collaborations with Anyma and Adam Beyer, back-to-back performances with Enrico Sangiuliano, Kevin de Vries, and Massano, and acclaimed sets at Ultra, EDC, Tomorrowland, and Amsterdam Dance Event.
German producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist Eddie Thoneick has helped shape the house music scene over the last 20 years. His discography is filled with releases on iconic labels like Toolroom, Armada, Solotoko, and Spinnin’. Like Chris, Thoneick has a knack for cinematic scoring, with placements on Amazon Prime, Hulu, Apple TV, and Disney, along with a 2025 Music+Sound Award.
