“Why is it called “falling” for someone? On a quest to find this out, Exit Coda and Chris Luno accidentally fell in love with each other… Each other’s music. Accompanied by Keilimei’s vocals, the trio remotely produced this melodic house cut, which they have successfully tested on dancefloors around the globe.”
Keilimei added:
“’Falling’ is about the first experience of a love that encompasses you in an unexpected way. It tells the story of a woman who goes out to dance and feel the human experience of movement in her body as an expression of self-love and ends up falling in love with someone she meets in the crowd.”
When the sun sets, the Luno rises, and that happened at one life-altering night in Mainz, Germany, where Chris entered a new cosmos called the “rave” and never walked out on it ever again. Feeling the urge to support the scene, Chris Luno held residencies in the Netherlands, while studying media management meticulously. He was picked up by the illustrious duo Tube & Berger, and their labels Kittball and ZEHN Records, where he began to level up his own production skills and DJ game. In 2020, he started his YouTube mix series, which spread far and wide, amassing 43 million streams across the platform. A collaboration with Tube & Berger followed, as well as gigs around the planet. His own productions received industry support from the likes of Diplo, Gorgon City, Nora En Pure, Claptone and has amassed more than 5 million streams on Spotify to-date. Recently performing at the Champions League final, he continues to take the dance music world by storm. Standing out from the masses with his organic and playful approach, he has upcoming releases on the horizon with the likes of Anjunadeep.
When Max and Alex packed up for their trip to Berlin’s club scene in 2017, little did they know that it was set to be a life changing trip that would see them both find a deep connection with electronic and all its diverse facets. Their mission became clear, and they spent months locked away in their studio, exploring different sounds and instruments. Turning their ideas into solid, powerful productions that make an impact on dancefloors, their DJ duo project Exit Coda was founded. Bridging emotional, vibrating basslines, and melancholic atmospheres, they have chartered tracks on prestigious imprints such as This Never Happened and Sekora, and now Purified Records.
Keilimei, a Hawaiian singer-songwriter based in Paris, France infuses the essence of both worlds in her music. Her captivating melodies embody the sensual island breeze and enchanting Parisian ambiance, cantered around the powerful theme of healing through sound. With extensive touring alongside French Duo Synapson and collaborations with international deep house artists, Keilimei is set to release more singles later this year. In contrast to deep house features with Chris Luno, Tâches, Ceaus, Un*Deux and Exit Coda, her acoustic serenades create a serene atmosphere for her yoga students. Through live mixes she combines her captivating vocals, ukulele samples, and healing instruments to create a transcendental experience for the mind, body and soul.
