Up and coming DJ and producer Luke K is taking the Dance music industry by storm with his rapid ascension. At just 17 years old Luke K is establishing himself as one of Austria’s most promising newcomers, potentially becoming a major exponent of its electronic music scene.
At such a young age, Luke K can already boast a series of remarkable live performances, having played renowned events such as: Colorbash, Supergau DJ Clubbing and Stadtzauber, in addition to making his way on the line-ups for: Lake Festival and Beatpatrol Festival. However, the culmination of Luke K’s big break in 2015 came when he won the Electric Love Festival talent contest and landed a spot on their main stage, alongside A-list names like: Tiesto, ZEDD, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, MakJ, Armin van Buuren and Robin Schulz to name a few.
Aside from holding a busy touring schedule, Luke K is also flourishing on the production side of things. Having spent hours of experimentation in the studio, Luke K is now ready to release his debut single ‘Chronos’, hitting the shelves on the 28th of August, 2015.
Kicking off with a euphoric melody straight away, ‘Chronos’ sets the mood for what’s to come. Energy is stripped back for a short period, whilst Luke K devises a powerful ascension which bursts once more into a catchy main melody. A mellower breakdown takes over, characterised by an intricate instrumental arrangement before heading into another colossal drop, showcasing a wide array of variations and effects to spice things up before reaching a stylish conclusion.
Luke K’s first single is being proudly presented by Fuckin’ House Records, a sub-label of Balloon Records. A leading Austrian label, Balloon Records is a platform for established and up-coming artists alike, home to marvelous artist like: Rene Rodrigezz, Urban Contact, Bodybangers & Victoria Kern, Steerner, R.I.O., Otto Le Blanc, Dawson & Creek, ACP, Jakko, Italobrothers, Finger & Kadel, DJ E-MaxX, Deep Criminal and many more. Luke K is certainly an outstanding addition to the Balloon Records family and will surely be contributing many more top-notch projects, following his first production ‘Chronos’.
