The 34th release on Perspectives Digital showcases the winning entries from the label’s first ever Beatport remix competition. The contest gave hopeful producers a chance to remix the imprint’s most critically acclaimed and best-selling track – ‘Outliers’ by Cid Inc and label boss Darin Epsilon – and was a huge success with over 250 entries from artists all over the world. Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic vs. Rick Pier O’Neil (who probably also get the longest remix artist credit of the year award!) were announced as the grand prize winners after an arduous judging process, with Subandrio, SummerMarian, and Solid Stone receiving the runner-up spots.
The Los Angeles based imprint Perspectives Digital, founded by Darin Epsilon in 2010, serves as the companion to his popular ‘Perspectives’ radio show and is named by Beatport as being “one of North America’s leading labels.”
Some exceptionally talented artists have already released their music on Perspectives, including Hernan Cattaneo & Soundexile, Cid Inc, Ian O’Donovan, Dousk, Jamie Stevens, Roger Martinez, Kastis Torrau & Arnas D, Marc Poppcke, Ricky Ryan & Kosmas, and SQL.
