Claudia Balla drops a modern pop hit about relationships

Claudia Balla is a singer songwriter, a chanteuse, whose dreamy folk pop is like a melancholic and nostalgic journey through technicolour landscapes of big, unfiltered emotions. Hungarian born and Switzerland-based Claudia adeptly mixes classical and jazz influences with modern pop sensibilities in her songs, which, according to her, are “movies told in three minutes”. Like all good storytellers, Claudia Balla is a quiet observer and a good listener who creates music that makes people feel good and brings them together in a safe, inclusive and accepting space. When not making music, she is a practising psychiatrist.

She’s having made her mark on the European music scene through albums like Enough, Fireand ALICE, Claudia Ball has established herself in the industry. Dark harmonies, raw lyrics, and vivid storytelling characterize her musical compositions.

“With the emergence of social media, there is an ever growing pressure on us to compare ourselves to each other and to certain ideals in order to “fit it in” and to be considered as “normal”. But what is the definition of normal? And who decides what it is to be normal? Is it attainable? Is it worth getting there? The track also addresses the issue of parasocial relationships, even with non-celebrities, having a crush on the boy/girl next door you don’t even know but whom you are stalking on the internet” – said the upcoming singer songwriter.

Claudia has a number of new singles in the pipeline for the upcoming months.
