Off the back of his critically acclaimed Altitude & Oxygen EP, Cleopold announces his first UK show at London’s legendary Brixton Academy on 9th November 2016 supporting Detail Records founder, Chet Faker. Cleopold is also heading to the prestigious Pitchfork Festival in Paris on the 25th October, to perform a headline show at Pop Up du Label. To celebrate these shows Cleopold is re-releasing ‘Down In Flames’ from the EP to coincide with the shows. ‘Down In Flames’ was a blog hit upon its initial release amassing an impressive 3 million plays online. Cleopold also recently performed a version of the track on CBS Music Minute (USA), watch here.
Altitude & Oxygen was released to critical acclaim in the UK, amassing over 3 million plays on Spotify and crucial playlist placements on Apple Music alongside glowing reviews. The EP was written in LA and Cleopold drew inspiration from recent romantic experiences, which set the tone for the EP. Cleopold has also just wrapped up an extensive US tour which has seen him headline a number of dates and also share stages with AlunaGeorge, Jessy Lanza and Azizi Gibson. He is also heading out on the road with UK alt-pop duo Oh Wonder across the US this fall.
Detail Records, is the boutique label owned and curated by Chet Faker and earlier this year released the debut EP by Australian singer, songwriter and producer Cleopold, ‘Altitude & Oxygen’.
