Cody Chase Pushes Boundaries with Hypnotic Techno in ‘To The Moon’ EP

Producer and DJ Cody Chase unveils his latest EP, ‘To The Moon,’ featuring two tracks that showcase his detail-orientated approach towards music creation and the Techno genre. Released on Mavic Music, this EP represents an exciting step in Cody Chase’s journey, emphasising rhythm, depth, and carefully crafted arrangements to highlight his signature sound and skillset. As he invites listeners into his creative world, Cody Chase ensures that the momentum he continues to build keeps climbing, aiming his artistic sights high as he works to establish a solid reputation on the Electronic Music scene.

The title track, ‘To The Moon,’ opens the EP with a pounding beat and driving bassline, setting the tone for the production and putting forward the raw energy Cody Chase is becoming known for. A soundscape layered with hypnotising synth lines, from melodic leads to gritty pads to bold hook details, the arrangement steadily builds, introducing a robust low-end with relentless and dark-sounding basslines. As Cody Chase skillfully uses production techniques to keep the energy high and the intensity raised, ‘To The Moon’ keeps propelling forward, resulting in a track that feels dynamic, layered, and primed for the dancefloor.

The second track, ‘5 on 4’ complements the title production while offering variation to the EP and its listeners. Featuring a heavy-hitting groove anchored by a prominent bassline, ‘5 on 4’ evolves into a full-bodied soundscape, with playful synth hits and raw textures that give the track a unique sound. As the bassline remains the driving force, Cody Chase crafts a detailed sonic tapestry with rhythmically driven synth leads, incorporating choppy motifs, filtered details, chordal progressions, staggering lines, and compelling risers. This layered approach gives ‘5 on 4’ a distinctive sound, enhancing the EP with dynamic energy whilst further highlighting Cody Chase’s skill in crafting original productions.

With his ‘To The Moon’ EP, Cody Chase shows the evolution of his artistic direction, offering a production that highlights his dedication to exploring the intricacies of Techno and pushing the boundaries of his creativity. As each track contributes a unique atmosphere to the EP, allowing listeners to experience Cody Chase’s signature sound, ‘To The Moon’ comes as a bold addition to his growing catalogue and will no doubt appeal to both fans of Cody Chase and new listeners alike.
