Fresh off the back of their edits of Chromeo’s ‘I Ain’t With It’ and Marvin Gaye’s ‘Mercy Me’, Disciples prove that they are this summer’s remix royalty with a brand new rework of Coldplay’s ‘A Sky Full of Stars’.
Championed by the likes of DJ Target, B.Traits, Trevor Nelson, Toddla T, Pete Tong, Rob Da Bank and Cameo, Disciples are known for mixing an eclectic collection of references while maintaining a core energetic sound. This string of remixes follows on from their second release on Pete Tong’s label FFRR; ‘Poison Arrow’ which quickly climbed dance music’s most notable barometers.
After mastering the old school classic ‘Mercy Me’ and kindly offering it up as a free download, the trio turned their sights on Coldplay’s latest release ‘A Sky Full Of Stars’, styling the contemporary pop tune with infectious energy perfect for the summer. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for the next instalment from these boys, and in the mean time, enjoy this stunning remix offering.
