Rising Israeli producer Maor Levi shows once again just why the hype around him has been building over the past twelve months with a stunning retake on the Coldplay offering ‘The Escapist’ that he’s now giving away to fans for free through his SoundCloud account.
Naming his remix the Starlight Mix was absolutely spot on, as Maor manages to hold on to the almost ethereal nature of the original while at the same time injecting it with ranging, dynamic prog-trance elements that stride across his trademark bass sounds, transferring the track out from the MP3 player and firmly onto the global dance floor – no easy feat with a single that is this flawlessly delicate.
