After reaching #1 on the Beatport Trance chart last year, it might be hard to think of how Grant Saxena could beat that. But with 2018, he has had a blistering run of releases. Most recently, ‘Destiny’ featured on an LW Recordings compilation, which succeeded two releases on Digital Ruckus; ‘Pursuit’ and ‘Spirals’. Showcasing his special sound to the world, he is teaming up with Digital Ruckus again for ‘Colossal’.
Big room inspired, the track immediately hits the listener with aggressive percussion, building your anticipation for the feisty drop. Reverb heavy synths arrive, with a constant undercurrent of potent bass and perfectly executed production. Then enters the Saxena sound; emotion driven synthesis, building and layering adding more feeling with every entering instrument. We are treated to a return to the no holds barred bass assault, as Saxena blends dance floor destroyers with music to tug on the heartstrings.
Consistently releasing amazing music, Grant Saxena is quickly becoming a household name and is looking forward to a busy festival season over the summer. Showcasing his sound, and encapsulating audiences, as he has done for many years before now, he is a true music lover who is continuing to impress the world.
