Community Festival 2019 Celebrates Its Biggest Year Yet

Under stunning skies in the heart of North London, Community Festival once again proved itself as the ultimate destination for indie-loving fans of all ages. Undeniably its most successful year to date, yesterday saw 35,000 fansgathering in Finsbury Park.

Headliners, The Kooks, poured through a career-spanning set that saw mass singalongs to ‘Always Where I Need To Be’, ‘She Moves In Her Own Way’, ‘Seaside’ and universal favourite ‘Naive’ – it was a moment many won’t be forgetting in a hurry and the perfect soundtrack to a Summer Sunday.

Blossoms truly lived up to their billing as Special Guests, showing why many tip Stockport’s finest to headline festivals up and down the land in no time, while the phenomenon that is Gerry Cinnamon delivered an emphatic Main Stage set that saw a rapturous crowd bellow back every word. Headlining The N4 Stage, The Amazons brought the rock’n’roll spirit with ‘Future Dust’ sizzlers and old favourites alike that brought Community to its knees in awe, likewiseKate Nash, whose glorious Main Stage set brought the feel-good vibes and defiant energy. From heart-jumping heights with Don Broco, to blistering indie fuzz with The Hunna and a who’s who of some of the most exciting new indie bands on the planet too (Sea Girls, The Academic, Bloxx, Vistas and more).

The only place to be for the best in indie heights and stunning sights, Community Festival 2019 celebrated the now and pointed to what’s coming next…
