Conro Releases Full-Length “Thrill of It” EP

Conro has dropped his masterful, self-produced new “Thrill of ItEP on Monstercat, featuring three brand new tracks and two previously released singles. Earlier this year, Monstercat began teasing the EP with the release of “Remember You” and “All I Want,” which hinted at Conro’s vibrant, funky and instrumental-driven sound for the project. Each song is a breath of fresh air, from the upbeat and energetic “Stars,” with its bouncy basslines and delicate instrumental interludes, to the sultry and dancefloor-friendly “Heartbeat.” The real crown gem is the title track “Thrill of It,” which delivers groovy soundscapes and an inspiring vocal performance by Conro himself. It makes for a guaranteed radio hit and feel-good festival anthem. Using the EP as a glimpse into Conro’s creative vision as an artist, it’s safe to say that he’s on his way to the top.

Conor Patton grew up inspired by the local talent in his native Canada, employing his early musical training to start making music of his own and eventually finding his passion and talent in producing. His upbeat electro-house and future bass production style led to heavy-hitting co-signings with artists including Wolfgang Gartner, Headhunters, and Dyro before becoming part of the Monstercat family. He experienced his first bonafide successes with his “Connecting the DotsEP, from which the single “Close” hit Billboard’s Dance Airplay Chart at #17. His success skyrocketed with “Take Me There” breaking the way on radio rising to #12 on Billboard’s Dance Airplay Chart shortly followed by “Trippin,” which hit an impressive #7. With the release of “Thrill of It,” Conro unveils a new sound to the world that is near and dear to his heart, and his inspiration shines through in the pure dynamism of the EP. Keep an eye out for what Conro has up his sleeve next as he continues his musical journey!
