Hitting the ground running with plans to make 2015 an even bigger year than the last, Corderoy has already lined up his first release and it’s due to land on February 9th on his own fledgling label, CDRY.
Since its inception last year and backed by an ever-growing list of names that includes like Paul Oakenfold, Sick Individuals, Micky Slim, Tiesto, Das Kapital, Moska, Charlie Hedges, Andi Durrant, Far Too Loud, The Squatters and Wuki , CDRY has helped Corderoy destroy the rule book and push serious boundaries with his subsequent productions and CDRY005 looks set to do exactly the same.
Leading with Purple Thrills, the release opens with Corderoy’s tongue-in-cheek nod to a classic slice of early noughties hip hop that has been reimagined for the dancefloors of 2015. Taking that unmistakeable sax sample and adding a weighty bassline and the kind of grove that’ll leave no head stationary, expect Purple Thrills to be the cheeky party weapon that every DJ is armed with.
With distinctly electro house vibes from the very beginning, Inside Out will literally ‘turn your brain inside out’. A growling bassline accompanied by distinctive Corderoy synths and a sinister vocal renders Inside Out as the harder, peak-time option and the perfect accompaniment to funkier Purple Thrills.
Purple Thrills & Inside Out will be released 9th Feb on CDRY
