Cour T. Enlists Linkage For New Single ‘Hihi’ via Dirtybird Records

Brazilian producer/DJ Cour T. has returned to the label with a new collaborative single ‘Hihi’ with fellow Curitiba-bred up-and-comer Linkage out now via Dirtybird Records.

The follow up to Cour T.’s debut album Brain Deals, ‘Hihi’ continues to showcase the breadth of talent coming out of Brazil. Teaming up with his childhood friend Linkage, ‘Hihi’ is a quirky deep-tech cut created for dark dancefloors and sweaty warehouses. Amidst bubbly vocal chops, ‘Hihi’ glides with eclectic percussion and thumping basslines. ‘Hihi’ is an amusing addition to Cour T.’s extensive collection of Dirtybird originals.

Based in Curitiba, Cour T. is a unique testament to Dirtybird’s far-ranging and long-lasting impact. In 2019, Cour T. signed ‘Black Magic’, the first track he ever produced, to the label. Since then, Cour T. has become a regular face on Dirtybird with seven EP releases and regular appearances at their Campout and CampINN events. Last year, Cour T. released his debut album, Brain Deals, which saw support from tastemakers like Mochakk and The Martinez Brothers. 

Linkage is an emerging Brazilian producer coming up alongside Cour T. Among the few Brazilians who have released on Solomun’s Diynamic, Linkage has also released on CUFF, DRT Records and Cour T.’s Colapso imprint. Linkage’s originals have gained support from prominent figures such as Seth Troxler, Vintage Culture, Amine Edge, Sirus Hood, Chloe Caillet, Joris Voorn, Meca, and Reelow.
