Having defined 2023’s dancefloor for many with his HALIENE-collabing ‘Other Side Of The World’, today, Craig Connelly makes an early pitch for ‘24’s crown.
This time out, he’s teamed with Cari, the Amsterdam-born & based singer-songwriter already behind a succession of floor-formidable tracks. Lest it need saying, if you have any last Jan-blues circulating, ‘Breathe Again’s’ singularly uplifting message is here to put pay to ‘em!
Through her work with Sean Tyas, Armin van Buuren, Sneijder, Somna, RAM and a host of others, Cari’s voice will have become mighty familiar over the last half-decade. On ‘Breathe Again’, she sings a song that speaks to the fight against adversity, fearless futures, rediscovering yourself and the limitless possibilities therein.
To that … well how could Craig reply with anything less than a rushing production, ripe with swelling strings & synths and swimming pads & chords?! Add to that a top-of-the-drop, cork-out-the-bottle crescendo, that’s boundless in its positivity and you have yourselves an early 2024 contender!
