May Bank Holiday Special
Following on from their first sell out show of the year which took place on Saturday, Cream have announced the line up for their next instalment , they will be returning to Nation on Sunday 4th May Bank Holiday weekend with one of the biggest club line ups you’ll see this year, with performances from the likes of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Nervo, R3hab, Cosmic Gate and Dyro to name a few.
Headlining the Main Room and as part of their ‘Smash The House’ UK Tour is Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. If you were witness to their electrifying performances at Creamfields last year they will need little introduction, for those who missed out, this Belgian duos live combination of DJ sets and crowd busting MC’ing has catapulted them to superstardom, turning them into one of the world’s most sought after production outfits and they have become a leading light in the new wave of international dance music currently taking the planet by storm. As #1 hit makers and remixers to the A-list elite they have amassed a barrow full of accolades over the last few years with hits including ‘Wakanda’, ‘Turn It up’ and ‘Madness’. Joining them in the Main Room is Dutch breakout star Dyro, debuting at #30 in the DJ mag Top 100 poll, he became the youngest ‘highest new entry’ artist to ever appear in the definitive DJ Poll, known for driving bass lines, enchanting melodies and highly charged drops he has seamlessly made the transition from bedroom musician to renowned international DJ/Producer and cemented his standing with seminal releases like his first Beatport #1 record alongside Hardwell for ‘Never Say Goodbye’, other acts performing include Dutch duo and ones to watch Blasterjaxx, whose unique sound which is best described as a crossover between electro-house, progressive and big room, has hit the radar of many big name artists including Tiësto, David Guetta and Hardwell, other performances come from Wolfpack and Cream resident Gareth Wyn.
Over in the Courtyard we welcome back Australian duo Mim & Liv aka Nervo. They have spent much of the last 2 years touring the world and climbing the ranks to become one of the hottest DJ duos on the circuit and their talent doesn’t stop there, as songwriters they have penned hits for artists such as Ke$ha and Jennifer Hudson with their biggest breakthrough coming when they co-wrote Guetta’s world wide smash ‘When love Takes Over’ featuring Kelly Rowland which charted at #1 in 11 countries across the globe and won a Grammy. Joining them in the Courtyard and making his Cream debut will be R3hab, whose brand of ‘Chainsaw Madness’ has created such a stir in the scene that time honoured acts are constantly in line to show their support – Tiësto, Afrojack and Calvin Harris to name a few, other performances come from Mak J, Tom Staar and Cream resident Anthony Probyn.
The Annexe is for the trance heads as one of Germanys finest musical exports DJ/Producers Cosmic Gate make their Cream debut, famous for club busting singles including ‘Fire Wire’, ‘Wake Your Mind’ and ‘Be Your Sound’, their Cosmological productions have catapulted them to the highest reaches of the official sales chart and seen them remix the compositions of revered Hollywood composers such as Avatars James Horner. Completing the trance line up there will also be performances from Simon Patterson, Ilan Bluestone, Jordan Suckley and Rob Harnetty.
