2016 will see Creamfields unveil its most ambitious production concept ever as they introduce the Steel Yard superstructure. Taking 12 months of planning and constructed exclusively for Creamfields the Steel Yard is the first and largest of its kind in Europe, with a capacity of 20,000 and reaching 20m high, this living, breathing behemoth redefines festival production as we know it.
Featuring newly developed automated technology that will transform the space immersing festival goers into a feast for the senses and allowing you for the first time to get up and close and personal and be part of the production. Last year they set the standard on festival production and this year they’ve raised the game once again, this is just the first of a series of all new production announcements to be unveiled for this year’s festival.
Creamfields, voted the UK’s #1 dance festival is on course for its 8th consecutive sell out, returning to Daresbury in Cheshire for 4 days across the August Bank Holiday weekend, featuring 28 arenas and over 250 of the worlds best electronic acts including including Calvin Harris, Tiestö, Avicii (last ever UK Performance), Axwell & Ingrosso, Alesso, Jack Ü, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Hardwell, Sasha, Above & Beyond, Martin Garrix, Fatboy Slim, Oliver Heldens, MK, DJ EZ, Chase & Status, Annie Mac, Hannah Wants, Steve Aoki, Eric Prydz, Knife Party, Mistajam, Armin van Buuren, Andy C, Roni Size, Jamie Jones, Tchami and Pete Tong to name a few.
