Crystal Fighters have unveiled a brand new single ‘Love Alight’ for release on 4th August via Zirkulo/PIAS. Having premiered on BBC Radio 1 as Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record in the World, the official video for ‘Love Alight’ is now available below.
‘Love Alight’ is another slice of uplifting tropical dance-pop that Crystal Fighters have built an impeccable reputation for. The summer festival anthem in waiting mixes massive electronic beats with a Spanish-infused guitar melody and an undeniable sing-along chorus led by lead vocalist Sebastian Pringle.
The new single arrives alongside another hectic summer of festivals for the band who have toured relentlessly since the release of their acclaimed 2nd album, ‘Cave Rave’ in 2013, firmly establishing themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting live acts and – as Gigwise say – “the best festival band on the planet”.
Following a 40 date winter EU tour – including a sold out show at Brixton Academy – Crystal Fighters return to festival stages for their biggest shows yet including Glastonbury (John Peel Stage), Latitude (Main Stage) and Lovebox (Noisey Stage, headliner) in the UK alone this summer.
