A combined 40+ year career with countless studio hours, hundreds of parties and several game changing records between them has culminated in the legendary D. Ramirez and Guy Williams collaborating on a serious rattler that has found a perfect home on the inimitable Vudu Records.
‘Shake’ does exactly what it says on the tin – it’s a club shaking bomb that takes you on a journey from tech house to something much tougher and deeper. Being able to draw on their extensive club knowledge and unique approach to house music has enabled the pair to create something close to groundbreaking that’s been tried, tested and hugely supported from the off with industry heavyweights such as Oliver Heldens, EDX, My Digital Enemy, David Penn, Thomas Gold, Federico Scavo, D.O.N.S. and Tough Love all spinning the track.
Incorporating a heavy duty bassline and acid inspired synths, twisted vocal samples are also thrown into the mix giving off warehouse vibes and an infectious energy making ‘Shake’ the perfect accompaniment to a dark, sweaty dance floor.
The follow up to last year’s Motherload EP, this latest release marks D. Ramirez’ and his partner in crime’s return proving that they’re always more than a couple of steps ahead of the game.
