After a short hiatus of four months Dada Life fans have finally had their patience rewarded, as Olle Corneer and Stefan Engblom return with their first original piece of production since July this year, a huge, bass-bin-destroying slice of electro heaven entitled ‘Freaks Have More Fun’.
For the dance floor reprobates from Sweden, it’s a return to their earlier, hard-hitting roots, a move that is certain to resonate with their global army of fans – or as they are more widely known, the ‘Citizens of Dada’.
Unsurprisingly featured heavily across Dada Life’s recent tour of America, ‘Freaks Have More Fun’ has been crafted to perfection by the irreverent duo, and is sure to deliver maximum impact across clubs and festivals heading into the New Year. While the looped vocoder chant is a call to arms for clubbers and electronic music lovers everywhere, the dizzying build-up and earth-shaking basslines will have thousands hanging onto the nearest fixed inanimate object in sheer anticipation of a drop that is of almighty proportions. This is not house music for the faint hearted but instead an unapologetic onslaught of hard, thundering electro purposefully designed by two masters to obliterate any speaker systems that come across it. Dada Life have once again, undeniably, struck major musical gold.
