Dance Mania Takeover ft DJ Deeon

Few labels pack a punch as hard as Dance Mania. Home to the likes of DJ Deeon, Paul Johnson, DJ Funk, Jammin Gerald, Parris Mitchell, DJ Slugo (the list goes on) – Dance Mania were instrumental in bringing the Chicago sound of Ghetto House to a worldwide platform; their fun and raw productions powering dance floors since 1985.

Having played  XOYO in 2014 alongside Jackmaster in the midst of their revival, we’re proud to welcome back the iconic Dance Mania crew back in 2016.

For this rare and special session, Dance Mania legend DJ Deeon will make his UK debut.

Revered around the world as the original master of Ghetto House, he crafted his own unique sound based on his early beginnings playing house parties in the projects of Chicago’s South Side.

From his staple releases on Dance Mania (check ‘Let Me Bang’, ‘Who You Wit’ and ‘The Freaks’) to the present day (earlier this year Numbers reissued a 4-track EP of Dee’s ‘greatest hits’) – there’s no other production quite like a DJ Deeoncut.

Landing for his first ever UK performance on Friday 11th March – this isn’t one to sit out on.

We're excited to announce the special guest support, released early next year – it'll complete this Dance Mania celebration.

Further writing the Dance Mania blue print came DJ Funk – who also sits on this line-up. A pioneering legend as the others, he was central in founding the sound of the label – high-tempo and uncompromising, we’re ready to be schooled in the ways of Dance Mania.

Room 2 sees Sub Club residents Harri & Domenic hold down room 2 for an all night stint.
