FUTURECODE & Roxanne Emery - Dancing In The Rain

Off the back of closing the mainstage of A State Of Trance 900 Utrecht with a blistering live set, newly formed duo FUTURECODE – consisting of Ukrainian Trance star Omnia and U.K. counterpart Ben Gold – dropped their debut single on Armada Music today. Featuring the vocals of acclaimed songstress Roxanne Emery, ‘Dancing In The Rain’ shows exactly why FUTURECODE are among the scene’s most sought-after new acts of the moment.

The very first track under their brand-new FUTURECODE moniker, ‘Dancing In The Rain’ sees Omnia and Ben Gold enter a new chapter in their career with a vocal-led, hyper-melodic masterpiece. Boasting the very same energy as their colossal performance at ASOT 900 Utrecht (which also featured a guest performance from Roxanne Emery), the track seems custom made for the delightful vocals, which in turn lift the record up to near-immeasurable heights.

Roxanne Emery: “Ben and I wrote ‘Dancing In The Rain’ together at his house. We used a little part of the nursery rhyme ‘Ten Green Bottles’, which made it very personal to me, having struggled with alcoholism. 2018 was a year of huge transformation for me, and the song documents that process and the faith that better days are coming. I am so happy FUTURECODE chose this as their first single; it’s an honor to work alongside them and the team at Armada Music to create art from the soul.”

FUTURECODE, who played two major festivals as Ben Gold b2b Omnia in the summer of 2018 and are exclusively signed to Amsterdam-based record label Armada Music, are currently planning a world tour in 2019 to hit every corner of the globe with their now widely acclaimed signature sound. The pair are also looking to release a lot more impressive singles over the summer, of which ‘Dancing In The Rain’ is the first.
