Danny Howard holds the fort for the mighty Pete Tong!
With every step in Danny Howard’s career there seems to be a milestone, an exciting ‘pinch me’ moment that Danny almost can’t believe. 2013 has already seen his Podcast go #1 on iTunes, his Ministry of Sound ‘Clubbers Guide’ hit #1 in the Dance Music Album downloads, he’s taken centre stage at some of the world’s biggest nights and this is to continue all through summer.
Already ticked off the iconic sunset gig at the iconic Café Mambo, Danny is due to make his first appearance at Cream Ibiza at Amnesia tonight (June 20th), he’s performing at the world famous and cornerstone of the House Music scene for the second time this season – Pacha – and July will see Danny back at San Antonio’s biggest night – Judgement Sundays.
Couple all this with hitting the festival circuit, including the UK’s biggest EDM events – Global Gathering and Creamfields, Danny Howard’s 2013 is shaping up to be pretty decent.
This Friday (21st June) will be a little bit special for Mr Howard, since the age of 12 Danny’s been tuning into one of the Godfathers of the Dance world – Pete Tong. Pete’s show is renowned for being the place where new tunes are exclusively introduced to the world, new talent discovered and Essential Mixes that have become stuff of legends. Friday will see Danny sit in Pete’s chair for one very special episode!
BBC Radio 1, 9pm (GMT), Danny Howard takes to the airways for yet another whopper of a milestone in his short yet amazing career to date. These few hours will be a time you DO NOT want to miss!
Exclusive plays, awesome guests and a very excited Danny Howard… 9pm, tomorrow… Tune in!
