Head down to The Woods a new 100 capacity, free entry, late night bar in Shoreditch for the second edition of their new monthly residency. Taking place on the first Thursday of every month the night will feature the artists that the UK’s premier music labels are most excited about for 2016 and beyond.
First up on Thursday will be classic R&B revivalists M.O whose dynamic and youthful take British soul brings to mind the ethereal yet emotional tones of classic girl groups All Saints and TLC. They are one of the most hotly tipped pop acts in the country, receiving a lot of love from Ed Sheeran and toured with the likes of Ciara, Wretch 32 and Disclosure.
Radio 1 dance purveyor Danny Howard has been soundtracking the nation’s Saturday nights for the past four years – bringing the latest and the greatest in bass to the airwaves. Recently launching “Nothing Else Matters” a project dedicated to providing the next platform for the future dance superstars, his set will be full of classic and fresh floor fillers.
Notion DJs will be also be spinning plenty of floor fillers.
