New label alert! The launch of Artificial Acoustical Ambience Records is here and they’ve not wasted any time in making a stand. Their debut release from DanSonic ‘Summer of Love’ is a melodic and well-presented Tech House workout that’s foundations rest on a smooth groove that’s stacked with elegant vocal atmospheres and a deep and rolling bass line, providing a more than interesting contrast. The remix package is just as impressive with F-Act chipping in with a traditional Progressive House rework, which takes the vocal and gives it an almost Trance-like edge. Loco-Volver also picks up on that euphonic nature of the vocal, offering a more stripped back Trance rework, that’s full of melodic content that makes for a cool and calm, yet blissful listen. Wrapping up the package is Weisses Licht, who’s gone all out on the chill factor with this highly original and psychedelic rework that contrasts Techno offbeat hi-hats with some really impressive experimental glitches and nuances. The remix package really delivers and has something for everyone. This is only release #001 for the new label – but with this kind of launch – we can expect bright things ahead for AAA.
