Darco teams up with Yamagucci for In Rotation Debut “What The F*** Is That”

Following a string of critically acclaimed career releases on the likes of Diynamic, Madorasindahouse, Maccabi House and Mago Music, Tel Aviv-based producer Darco (real name Dar Cohen) now makes his eagerly anticipated debut on Insomniac Records’ In Rotation imprint with his brand new single “What The F*** Is That”.

Out now, “What The F*** Is That” sees Darco team up with rising Japanese/Israeli producer and Insomniac mainstay Yamagucci, to deliver a tightly produced, club-ready cut marked by crisp drums, punchy vocal samples, and an infectious house groove. It’s direct and dynamic, highlighting Darco’s blend of live performance and sharp, studio-built precision, with the kind of effortless flair that has become central to his growing global appeal.

Renowned for his impressive catalogue of productions and hybrid sets that blend live instrumentation, DJing and his signature Talkbox performances, Darco has quickly become one of the most talked-about artists in Tel Aviv’s electronic scene. His debut EP was released on Diynamic Music under the mentorship of Solomun, and he’s since delivered key releases on Madorasindahouse and Maccabi House, where he is now officially managed by Adam Ten and Mita Gami. Beyond this, his music is consistently supported by leading tastemakers including Solomun, Michael Bibi and Camelphat, to name a few.

Another leading figure in Tel Aviv’s electronic music scene, Yamagucci first emerged with his acclaimed single“Sonar Waves” on Disco Halal in 2020. In the years since, he has released music on respected labels including Crosstown Rebels, Dynamic, Maccabi House, Nervous Records, Rumors and Realm, building a reputation for clean, forward-thinking house productions and collaborations.
